New Year, New Apothecary

I am so incredibly excited to return to the blog after many (very busy) weeks in the run-up to the festive season, and I would like to thank everyone who has supported this business throughout the previous months. I hope I can continue to earn your endorsement going forwards.

And now for some utterly thrilling news...

I am officially opening the Alchemical Romance Apothecary! That's right! We will now be stocking all of the magickal ingredients you could possibly need for spellwork, rituals, and offerings. (I am currently in the process of writing an accompanying herbal/ journal filled with gardening tips, folklore, spells, and recipes for all stocked ingredients.)

All apothecary items are carefully and ethically sourced and packaged from within the UK, and all are chosen with our company values in mind, including environmental impact*.

Not only this, but keep a look out over the coming days, and you will see some further additions to our witches' supplies...

*Recent years have seen a boom in commercialised gimmicks and a steep rise in exploitation within the 'New Age' and spiritual community, and this is a trap that I do not want to fall into. As long as indigenous tribes and First Nations peoples continue to have their sacred lands and property stolen and exploited without due diligence, I will never sell Californian White Sage or Palo Santo or whichever the latest whim of TikTok or Instagram happens to be.

Similarly, I will not be importing Himalayan salt when we are surrounded by seas that provide salt of equal magickal properties and potency. (Epsom salts are magnesium-based, and therefore different to sodium chloride salt.)
